Have you
ever looked up the definition of “trying”?
Google says this…
“Difficult or annoying. Hard to endure”
Merriam-Webster
says this…
“Difficult to deal with” and this… “severely straining the powers of endurance”
That’s not
what I expected to read when I looked up the word “trying”, and that got me
thinking.
What have
I actually “tried”?
Not a whole lot, let
me tell ya because when something is difficult or annoying I usually don’t do
it! And when something is "severely
straining my powers of endurance"…I Google or Pinterest a way to make it
easier or just avoid it all together.
Can I get
a witness?!?!
Making
changes in my life is hard, but I don’t want to be the same person 5 years from
now, or even 5 months from now. So, to
make those changes and reach my goals…I need to keep trying.
It's your everyday decisions that you make over and over that are going to impact you the most in the long run.
“If you don’t go after what you want, you’ll
never have it. If you don’t ask the
answer is always no. If you don’t step
forward you’re always in the same place.”
